This BAYFTAH26M/ FLR06074 filter is made to fit in the Trane / American Standard TFM260B0AH0, TFP260A0AH00, TFP260A0AH10, TFP260A0AH11, TFM260A0AH10 Perfect Fit Air Cleaner models. This filter is made with a double wall moisture resistant frame and a MERV 8 filter media rating for the reduction of airborne particulates. The higher the MERV value, the smaller the size of particles filtered. This filter has a deep pleated surface rather than a flat one, thereby increasing the filtering surface area which further increases the number of contaminants it can capture. With a MERV 8 value, it traps airborne pollutants as small as 3.0 microns such as dust, pollen, dust mites, and animal dander while allowing a free flow of cleaner air. The filter will also extend the life of your heating and cooling system by making it work more efficiently by preventing the accumulation of particles that settle on the evaporator and condenser coils.
