The DA29-00003F is the replacement for the DA29-00003G, DA29-00003B, DA29-00003A, & HAFCU1 water filters which have been discontinued by Samsung and Aqua Pure. The filter uses an Activated Carbon Block to remove contaminants and should be replaced at least every 6 months.This filter is certified by NSF International for standards 42 and 53.
