I’ve been ordering the 16x25x3.5 OEM Carrier Infinity filters from Atomic for a couple years. On the most recent order I decided to try this compatible filter. I put the OEM side by side with Atomic’s compatible and could not tell any difference other than exterior print. This filter looks to be the same quality and dimensions; moreover, it does have the metallic strips to utilize Carrier’s “capture & kill” technology. I’ve tried less expensive generic filters from competitors that were either made more flimsy and/or left air gaps due to slightly smaller nominal dimensions. Atomic’s compatible is clearly the best alternative to the OEM. I’ll continue to be a repeat customer.
