Lennox X8791 PCO Catalyst model PCO20-28 Metal Insert

The X8791 metal mesh filter does a great job in reducing household odors as I have found as a long-term user of Lennox PCO20-28. However, X8791 works in concert with the Lennox X8794 UV lamps which do go bad after awhile. I am awaiting a shipment of those lamps as ones I had in place for a few years are not producing sufficient illumination to work with the metal mesh filter. Be certain to check all elements of your Lennox system.

The X8791 metal mesh insert is one of the 3 important pieces in a PUREAIR. It should be replaced every 18-24 months depending on how much the system blower runs as it loses its effectiveness eventually.
