First time buying the atomic made equivalent filters for my carrier, fit and installation went as hoped. Same size, fit and appears pretty identical to oem. Looking forward to the next change to see how effective these might be compared to oem.
Turn off my order from this company. The box was damaged during shipping. Great customer service replacement was shipped immediately. I will continue to order through this company.
A yearly Lennox Y6616 works well in a heat pump HVAC for a large house with three cats and two dogs. When we had three cats and three dogs, we also would replace filter only at the six month interval. During allergen season it allows good sleep at night, but obviously it can't help you if you leave the house.

The Trane filters arrived to my home in a timely manner before the HVAC appointment for annual maintenance was accomplished. The filters were a great price for the dual pack which equated to less than 50% cost of what I would have paid the company for one filter during the annual maintenance appointment. I will continue to order my filters from Atomic Filters.
I have noticed that the filter's ability to maintain airflow while effectively trapping airborne particles has made improvements in air quality. There has been a reduction in dust and allergens within the home. Came ready for installation, very well constructed, and thus easy to install.

Have used Atomic filters for years, but my Carrier/ Bryant whole house electrostatic 'purifier' started flashing a warning that manual suggested could be due to not using a "genuine" replacement filter. Ended up shutting power switch on filter off ($1,200 or so original cost). Air was still filtered but no advantage form ionizing feature. Through multiple HVAC furnace/AC routine maintenance calls, nobody had a solution other than to try brand name expensive filter to see if it would resolve. After a couple of years of frustration, recently noticed that one of the little metal tabs at bottom front of unit was bent. It was on right side, same side as filter foil/metal arms that system uses to 'sense' filter installed. Photo shows tab restored to proper angle. Indicator light no longer flashes. Easy fix. Common sense, no HVAC expertise required. Now getting full benefit of system.

Very good service
Pros: Great replacement at a lower cost. The fit is precise, the quality of the filter is very good, and the electrical contacts on the filter work well with my carrier electronic air cleaner system.
Con: Wish the filter was available in a lower MERV rating as I do have slightly high static air pressure in my HVAC system.
