Error Code New PGAPXCAR2025-A02 Filter on DGAPAXX Cabinets

This can happen with both the OEM and compatibles on these 2 sizes. Here are 2 common issues that cause this error for PGAPXCAR1625 and PGAPXCAR2025 filter cartridges.

1. Some new filters(both OEM and compatible) have a fuller foam gasket on the back of the filter and must be pushed a bit more to back of the cabinet. This will then allow the foil metal contact tabs to line up prevent the error code.

2. Some time the filter is put in the wrong air flow direction and since the foil contact are on the wrong side you will get error the 2 green flashing error code. There is a an air flow direction on the cabinet door and the filter. make note of the correct orientation when removing your old filter.

Other Carrier Manual Error indicator for 2 flashes

• No filter installed Place filter in air purifier.
• Filter installed incorrectly: Install filter in correct orientation as indicated by airflow direction arrows on cabinet and filter.
• Wrong type of filter installed Install a genuine air purifier replacement filter.
• Wet filter Call service to locate and eliminate the source of water on the filter and replace the filter with a new filter.
• Damaged filter contact spring on door assembly Verify that filter contact springs mounted on door are properly contacting the aluminum contact pads on the filter and not contacting the cabinet or door back.  If springs are broken or dam aged replace the door assembly.
