The filter I need is hard to find, so I was pleased that a google search revealed a company that had it in stock AND offered it at $15 cheaper than my previous supplier. On top of that, I received the filters in 3 days!
After looking on Amazon, various local sources (found nothing), and a handful of sparse e-commerce dealers I found this vendor to have a specialized filter (wasn't disclosed when I purchased the HVAC unit!) at a reasonable price. I was very skeptical and also concerned that (1) the item price listed would change drastically with shipping costs or "other fees". False - I received free shipping and from order to my home 3 business days.
(2) that I was being scammed by either a non-OEM filter, or a fake business: FALSE!
(3) that the quality of the filter would somehow be compromised. FALSE!
Installed perfectly and our HVAC and air cleaner are happy again! I'll be a repeat customer!
I bought a 2 pack of these 18 months ago, same vendor, $30 less. Now same vendor via Amazon, $80 (I think) more than direct from Atomic. Even though all three instances were Atomic Filters. Lesson learned. Actually, lesson confirmed.
