This filter Filter has been redesigned by Honeywell and is NOW 30% Thinner with the same media, airflow and life span. 

Honeywell OEM Replacement FC40R1003 20" x 20" x 5" (actual size was 19 3/4" X 19 3/4" 4 3/8", but is now 30% thinner) MERV 10 Replacement for older Honeywell model number F35R. The FC40R Return Grille Filter is a high-efficiency, long-life replacement for return grille filter. This filter captures a significant amount of the airborne particles in the air that circulate through the filter. Honeywell has a recommended a depth of seven inches behind the grille to provide space for the deeper filter and airflow through the filter. Recommended annual filter replacement(every 12 months).
