Steps to Install the replacement filter without any extra tools:
Press the eject button to release the filter from the base grille.
Pull the filter straight out.
Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it from the filter.Do not discard the cap. It is part of your refrigerator. Keep the cap to use with the replacement filter.
Open the door to the refrigerator and check for leaks.
Place the six-month replacement calendar label on the
inside of the door.
For optimum performance, it's recommended you change your filter every 6 months or 300 gallons
