This Bryant compatible replacement filter fits Mechanical Air Cleaner 1400 and BMF2020.It has a MERV 11 filter efficiency, which indicates how minute the particles are that can be trapped by this filter. The higher the value, the smaller the size of particles filtered and higher the number of particles captured. To further increase filtration, it has a pleated rather than a flat surface, thereby increasing the filtering surface area. With a MERV 11 value, it efficiently traps airborne particles such as dust, pollen, dust mites, animal dander, lead dust, mold spores, car fumes and other particles as small as 1.0 microns while allowing a free flow of fresh cleaner air.
